Our Mission:

For ages 13-16, our program develops physical skills in an environment of community, accountability, teamwork and responsibility. Each class gives teens time to focus on a harder skill or movement that either improves their coordination/balance or transfers over to more powerful lifts. We keep the workouts challenging not just to make teens more fit, but also to give them a sense of accomplishment. Working hard to get that first pull-up does amazing things for self-confidence. It also teaches teens how to have a positive attitude toward challenges.

We introduce kids to correct foundation movements and will begin teaching a myriad of functional exercises, starting with a PVC bar and moving up in resistance based on their comfort level and ability. Safety and natural progression is always of upmost importance. We welcome all levels of fitness in the teens class and scale each workout accordingly to the individuals current level. In this, we help teach them the proper movement and also prevent injury.

Our goal for teens is to help get (or keep) the kids/teens conditioned to help them excel at the other activities they might participate in through recreational, travel teams or school. We always encourage teens to try new things and have fun both inside and outside of the gym!

Times:

CFT Teens (13-16 years)
Tuesday and Thursday 4:15pm-5:00pm

In each 45-minute class, we’ll invest in your teen and ensure he/she is progressing both physically and mentally. Striving to set goals, work toward, and accomplish what they put their mind to.
